Mr. Egwuatu is
first a Fine Artist. He holds a 1985 HND in Painting from
Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi. He has since moved on to exploring
other interests in corporate charisma and reputation
management.
Between 1988 and 1994, he worked in various capacities in
the print journalism industry including as Senior
Illustrator/Designer in the defunct Financial Post
and also Banking and Finance Digest.
In 1995, Ben joined The Corporate & Financial
Communications Ltd. (a PR Company) as Head of Creative
and Production Services where he first began to study
the images of organizations and how big brands evolve.
Ben would rise to become Group Head, Creative Services
when he moved to PMIDIRECT (a marketing communications
company) in 2000. By 2002, he ventured into partnership
with the setting up of Advertising Design (a concept
agency). He would in 2006 resign to join Folio
Communications and consequently seconded to The Daily
Times of Nigeria Plc.
Cumulatively, Ben has about 20 years experience in
communications arts with immeasurable training and
knowledge in corporate communications, marketing
communications and news papering. Ben is an alumnus of
the American Press Institute. In July 2007 he got a
fellowship sponsorship to the prestigious American Press
Institute at the instance of The Daily Times of Nigeria
Plc. He is also a registered practitioner in
advertising.
