Stanley Egbochuku,
fellow of the
Nigerian Guild of Editors, is the Group MD/Editor in
Chief of Daily Times of Nigeria plc. Until his current
appointment, Mr. Egbochuku was the Editor-in-Chief/Chief
Operating Officer of Business Day Media Limited,
publishers of BusinessDay, Nigeria’s first daily
business and financial newspaper. He had worked in
foremost private equity firm Capital Alliance Nigeria as
the champion of the media platform before setting up the
investor information journal Business Confidential as CEO.
Stanley Egbochuku was the
Deputy Managing Director of Concord Group of Newspapers
from 1991 up to 2000 when Concord Group suspended
operations. His service in Concord Group took in roles
as Executive Director Marketing and Advertising and
founding editor Business Concord. He had earlier
served for eight years in Daily Times of Nigeria plc,
being a co-founding member of the erstwhile Business
Times, Nigeria’s first business newspaper.
Egbochuku holds an MSc
degree in Marketing following a full time programme at
the Scottish Business School, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.. Daily Times of Nigeria plc sponsored his
first full time degree programme in Communication
Studies at Aberdeen.
